I can confirm that there has been no grow in most of the assemblies, and several have lost considerable numbers in recent years. It is the ministry of these assemblies in particular, that my own private research discovered are by far the most abusive. There have been significant losses experienced in Adelaide. Even Anondale heights has been reduced to half its’ size in recent years. The atmosphere began to change after purchasing their own private hall. (Please note that this property is also registered in the private name of the pastor.) Ironically, things began to deteriorate rapidly after the Manila split, and possibly the most significant event that earmarks the beginning of the end, was the new years eve 1999/2000 sermon by Mr. Noel Hollins. It was at this meeting when he stood up before a crowd of nearly 1,000 people and promoted himself to be the Apostle of the ‘Only True Church in the World’.
Another challenge for the people who want to be guided by the Truth is to - Ask Mr. Noel Hollins if he still holds to this claim, and ask him if he regrets giving this sermon.
think it is quite amusing that since Mr. Hollins gave that talk about being the Apostle, particular GRC followers are attempting to ‘muddy the waters’ and claim that it was something Mr. Addison said. The tape recording of the ‘talk’ designed to see in the ‘new millennium’ is conclusive.
Anyhow, whoever chooses to believe that Mr. Addison made these comments instead of Mr. Hollins, then are they suggesting Mr. Addison was ‘out of order’. I was at those camp meetings and heard exactly what Mr. Hollins said on that night, and exactly what Mr. Addison said the following night. I also never heard anything said about Mr. Addison being ‘out of order’ for anything he had supposedly said about Mr. Hollins ministry.
If you are in doubt, approach Mr. Hollins and ask him what he said. Why be afraid?
Many brothers will also remember the 3 day fast in the 80’s when Mr. Hollins had a vision from Matthew 24:14 of the GRC being ‘the true church’ called to take the Gospel into the entire World. Many of these brothers are still loyal subordinates to Mr. Hollins. Those who serve the god ‘Noel Hollins’ can not re-write history, or cover their errors. It was also suggested many times throughout the 80’s, that Christ would return before the year 2000. I pray that all members of the GRC give their hearts back to following the Gospel. Mr. Hollins has focused their vision on his own ministry and not that of Jesus Christ.
Just face the facts. The Truth is far easier to accept.
