This is absolutely correct. Some time after my expulsion, I spoke with Mr. Barry Henderson, Mr. Peter Millane, Mr. Lloyd Longfield and others concerning the 1972 split. I remember Mr. Hollins would often refer to the 1972 split from the pulpit, but without giving any real reasons as to why he chose to do this. I believe the 1972 split haunts him to this day. He knows he was being deceitful, manipulative, and craving for total control of the GRC assets when he initiated the split. Mr. Hollins (being the evil opportunist that he is), affected the split in the absence of the assisting pastor, Jack Clay. Jack Clay was away in Canberra holding campaign meetings when the split took place, and was unable to voice his opinion in the special meeting held in the Sunday school hall, chaired by Mr. Barry Henderson, prior to the split. Mr. Hollins literally stabbed Jack Clay in the back and ousted him from the GRC. It was a bit like the Cain and Abel story. The people liked Jack because he was a compassionate and approachable person. Noel envied his brother, Jack, who remained with RCI (RCA) until his death. There are two things that happened in particular that prove Mr. Hollins knows he’s guilty.
Firstly, after the split was affected, Mr. Hollins announced that ‘Jack Clay’ deserves our prayers. One could appropriately ask Mr. Hollins, why would a ‘backslider’ deserve our prayers???
Secondly, Mr. Hollins sat in his car on the roadside during the funeral of Jack Clay. He possibly thought he was not spotted by anyone, but he was there. One could appropriately ask Mr. Hollins (even though he couldn’t humble himself to stand by the corpse during the ceremony), why would he attempt to attend the funeral of a ‘backslider’???
There is no greater BACKSLIDER than one who turns his heart from God to plunder, desecrate and massacre the sheep.
